Art, taught with care.

Established in 2019

At S&A, learners look closely, build skills and make work that feels like their own. Drawing and painting remain at the heart of how we teach.

Guidance you can see.

Clear demonstrations and individual feedback help learners understand a technique, then use it in their own way.

Experienced art educators

The team’s backgrounds include postgraduate study in landscape architecture and degrees in architecture and industrial design, alongside professional illustration, animation and hands-on making.

Skills, then choices.

Observation, line, proportion, colour and composition give learners a starting point. Material tests, feedback and revision help an idea become their own.

Teacher assignments and specialist guidance vary by class and are confirmed directly with the studio.

Finishing a work matters. So does seeing it on a wall, talking about it and discovering how differently other people see.

Since 2019, our story has included outdoor sketching, museum and gallery visits, and community art. We hold a student exhibition every year and offer voluntary art support for schools and local groups.
